Located at the heart of Balzan, it is situated in a quiet side-street, where few cars access. The village core is barely a minute round the corner.

The place was fitted with Nordic style furniture and being fans of minimalism, we kept things simple but comfortable.  We didn’t want a crowded place.  

The maisonette consists of a living/kitchen/dining, after which a corridor leads to the 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms over 120m².

The main bedroom leads to a small yard where a neat unit hides the washing machine.  Most piping work & flushing tanks were passed through the yard for easy access in case of repairs.  The bathrooms also enjoy unlimited access to hot water due to a gas-operated water heater.  The maisonette was originally tiled with 60x60cm white tiles, but we later decided to place laminate flooring for a warmer ambiance. 

One of the bedrooms has been changed into an office but can be easily changed back because only a desk needs to be removed.

Enjoying a separate entrance, the maisonette is part of a beautiful development in Balzan called Giardini Grove.  One of the reasons why we had chosen this property is because the development was respectful of the surrounding Maltese architecture, having beautiful traditional balconies, stone arches, and also retained an original 400-year old garden wall.  The development circles around a lovely quiet square with a fountain, where we spent many a time playing with our son or simply relaxing reading a book.  Two balconies from our maisonette (from the two bedrooms) overlook this lovely small square.   The property is ready to move into and we’re selling it fully furnished.  It has an AC in each room (4 units in total which are nearly brand new).
